Terms of Service

Cardolith is a free tool for showing off your Magic: The Gathering collection. Your collection data is yours. Don't use the service to harm other people or the service itself. It's provided as-is by a small team, so keep your own exports. That's most of it — the details are below.

By creating an account or using cardolith.com you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Cardolith. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

• Give us an accurate email address — it's how we verify you, reset your password, and decide which emailed imports to trust.
• Keep your password and sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Your personal import address is for your use only. Imports are accepted only from your account email; don't try to send CSVs on someone else's behalf.
• One person, one account. Don't create accounts for other people or automate account creation.

The collection data you import — the cards, quantities, conditions, and everything else in your CSV — belongs to you. You can export it at any time and delete it by deleting your account.

So that Cardolith can work, you give us permission to store that data and display it to you and to whoever your visibility setting allows. That permission ends when you delete the data or your account, except for copies that linger briefly in backups.

You're responsible for what you share. If you make your collection viewable by link, anyone with that link can see it and could pass it along. You can switch back to private at any time.

• Access, scrape, or copy another person's collection except through the sharing they've chosen to give you.
• Try to get around visibility settings, rate limits, or any other protection.
• Use the sharing or invite features to send unsolicited email to people who don't want it.
• Upload files that are malicious, deliberately malformed, or wildly beyond the size and row limits the app tells you about.
• Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking us first, or put unreasonable load on it.
• Use Cardolith for anything illegal.

Magic: The Gathering, its card names, card text, artwork, and related marks are the property of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Card data and images are provided through Scryfall. ManaBox and TCG Archivist are trademarks of their respective owners. Cardolith is an independent fan-made tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, Scryfall, ManaBox, or TCG Archivist.

Cardolith is free and under active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed. We'll do our best to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can't promise uninterrupted availability or that data will never be lost — keep your own ManaBox / TCG Archivist exports. Card prices are not shown or tracked; any price values in your CSV are stored only so they round-trip when you export.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other users, and we'll tell you why when we reasonably can. If we ever shut Cardolith down, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export your collection.

Cardolith is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use Cardolith after a change means you accept the new terms.
